If you drive into central Sofia, you know how it goes. Round the block on Rakovski, down Graf Ignatiev, back again, watching for a gap. The street bays are in the blue and green zones, each with its own hours and time limits, and at busy times a free one is hard to find. Meanwhile, behind gates a street away, private garages stand empty all day while the people who use them are at work.

CarBNP lets you book one of those spaces. Hosts rent out their garages and bays for the hours they don’t need them, and larger car parks list their free bays too. Book an hour for a meeting or a show, a day while you’re in town, or a month for somewhere to leave the car near home or work. Each space shows the address, the price, the hours it’s free and how you get in: a gate that opens from your phone, an access code, a security guard or open access. How much does parking cost in Sofia?

It depends on the space, because each host sets their own price. Right now spaces in Sofia cost €0.50–€5.00 an hour, €5–€200 a day and €40–€250 a month. A small service fee for card processing is added at checkout, and you see it before you pay: on a €3 booking it’s €0.32, so you pay €3.32.

Can I rent a parking space in Sofia by the month?

What if I can’t park when I arrive?

Report it from your booking. That covers a bay that’s taken, a gate that won’t open or a bay that’s blocked. Then pick what suits you: move to another bay, wait while the host clears it (we add the lost time back) or get a refund. The host has 10 minutes to answer. If they confirm the problem, you get a full refund to your wallet or card. If they don’t answer, small bookings are refunded automatically and our support team checks the rest.

Do I need an account to book?

No. You can book as a guest with just your email and a 6-digit code we send you. Pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay; the payment goes through Stripe.

Have a parking space in Sofia?
